ECO TOURISM

Eco Tourism

WLCI welcome Eco-tourists to come and spend time with us to gain greater depth into our conservation work.

We are very pleased to see a growth in Eco-tourism as it allows us to reach a wider audience and educated them on the significance of the wetlands. It also shows local people the importance and value in preserving the wetlands for the local economy.

We recently welcomed Kal from Australia, who was traveling with insight safaris. She really wanted to experience a grassroots conservation project and WLCI were delighted to share many aspects of our work with her over 2 days.

" I cant thank you enough for such an incredible experience. It was a real privilege to get to know you and learn more about your conservation initiative and the amazing work you are doing. I truly loved my 2 days and the passion and dedication you bring to protecting Uganda's wetlands and wildlife is incredibly inspiring. It was an experience I will never forget"  Kal, Australia.
